Description

Playing for the Florida Marlins and Atlanta Braves, second baseman Dan Uggla enjoyed tremendous output during his first six seasons, averaging 30+ home runs, and 90+ RBI. Had he continued on this pace for another six seasons or so, Uggla would very likely have a bronze plaque hanging in Cooperstown, however things went south in 2012, and Uggla was gone from the game in 2015. Still, he is the only second sacker to ever have five consecutive 30 home run seasons, and some of that MLB record history game is available with this group of war clubs in hand.

Featured are (6) 2006-2007 Uggla autographed and inscribed game-used bats. All are Louisville Slugger Genuine 113 Dan Uggla signature models, with Florida Marlins burned into the barrels of each. All have Uggla's Marlins uniform number "6" written on both the knob and barrel ends, and all show abundant signs of authentic use, including contact marks and bat rack streaks on the barrels, gripping agent residue on the handles, and tape on the knobs; and just (2) are cracked, one on the handle, and one through the label. Each bat is signed by Uggla on the barrel with average ("8-9") potency, (3) are inscribed "06 Game Used" from his rookie MLB season, and (3) are inscribed "07 Game Used" from his second MLB season. Auction LOA from JSA.
