Description

Turn a few pages back a hundred years ago, give or take, with this group of (4) interesting pieces of ephemera. Averaging (GD to VG) in condition are:

1.) Associated News Service 14x17 premium with a team photo of the 1919 Cincinnati Reds. A caption below the photo reads "Cincinnati Reds Who Won 1919 Pennant", and the date "Oct. 1, 1919" printed at bottom right, indicates this piece was published just as the Reds were about to take on the Chicago White Sox in the infamous "Black Sox" World Series.

2.) c.1910s White Cross Electric Vibrator 4-page promo sheet featuring several baseball player photos, including Roger Bresnahan and Ed Walsh.

3.) c.1930 Christy Walsh All American Sport Reels 6-page promo featuring Babe Ruth, Knute Rockne, Pop Warner and Jim Thorpe.

4.) 1935 Colonel Bob Sports Magazine Vol. 1, No. 2 with Joe Louis, Dizzy Dean and Mickey Cochrane on the front cover, and an interesting Babe Didrikson article inside.
