Presented is a marvelous vintage 8x10 photograph of Hall of Famer Edd Roush. Unlike most signed photos of the great outfielder, this example has three things worth mentioning. First, it is a Type I photograph. Second, it has a vintage signature, signed most likely during his playing days. Lastly, the image of him standing with cows has added relevance when considering his famous quote, "I didn't expect to make it all the way to the big leagues; I just had to get away from them damn cows." This quote, found on the official Edd Roush website, is in regards to his childhood on the farm and getting up before dawn to do the milking. The photo has a PSA/DNA sticker and matching cert card (P89887). While the cert number (with the "P" designation) normally identifies the photograph as authentic, the PSA/DNA website notes that the sticker is for both the photograph AND the autograph.
