Description

En route to shattering base theft records established by Ty Cobb and Maury Wills, Hall of famer Lou Brock wore and autographed this St. Louis Cardinals warm-up jacket. Tailored from heavy knit, the button-down garment features a Cardinals logo embroidered to a white twill plate on the left breast. Blue-and-red-and-white striped stretch ribbed knit lines the collar sleeve endings and button path, and the front is home to (2) canvas-lined pockets. Within the collar, a satin plate features a vintage “Aladen” manufacturer’s label, a size “44” flap tag and a metallic chain hanger. On the plate’s lower portion, Brock’s blue marker autograph (“8” strength) resides just to the right of a black marker notation of his since-retired number “20.” All original and unaltered, the jacket shows nice game wear.
