Polar opposites in terms of their paths, the 1973 Oakland A’s and New York Mets somehow met in the World Series. Produced in limited quantities for Major League personnel, and hailing from the personal collection of Hank Peters, bats such as these Hillerich & Bradsby display weapons feature the names of the participants accenting a gorgeous black patina. Coveted as Fall Classic keepsakes in any condition, World Series “Black Bats” are seldom, if ever, found in the condition of these two, which remain sealed in their original wrappers with presentation cards attached via blue ribbons. More on our website.

Each display keepsake has facsimile signature stampings of players who brandished H&B weapons, and block-letter stampings for all other team members. The original H&B shipping box with Peters’ Florida address accompanies.
