Dubbed (among other monikers) “The Swingin’ A’s” and the “Mustache Gang,” the Oakland Athletics were immortalized on these (6) 1970s-1990s World Series prizes. Issued in limited quantities to Major League personnel, and hailing from the personal collection of Hank Peters, the keepsakes include: 1972 World Series Black Bat Mint-in-original packaging with presentation card; World Series Press Pins/Charms 1972 (charm); 1973, 1988, 1989 and 1990. Each pin is complete with post and nut. More on our website.
The World Series black bat remains in its original sealed wrapping and is accompanied by its mailing container with Peters’ Ohio address and Hillerich & Bradsby return address. The full-size display weapon features stampings of (37) different A’s players/team personnel, with facsimile signatures of those who actually used H&B weapons and block-letter stampings for those who did not.
