Description
Having survived the swift stroke of the printer’s blade, the offered 1964 Philadelphia Gum Football uncut sheet of (132) cards is a premier offering for the vintage gridiron specialist. This printing press survivor is comprised of (12) eleven-card rows and features a host of Hall of Famers and keys including #1 Berry, #3 Mackey RC, #12 Unitas, #14 Colts/Shula, #48 Lilly, #71 Adderley RC, #72 W. Davis RC, #74 Hornung, #79 Starr, #84 Packers/Lombardi, #117 Gifford and #198 CL. Expected peripheral and interior creasing affects the majority of the key cards including Unitas and Starr but does not disrupt the overall presentation appeal. The back is clean. Suitable for framing and prominent display in any den or office.
