At or near the top of the National League West standings all season long, the 1982 Los Angeles Dodgers enjoyed a three-game lead as late as September 24 but were ultimately felled by an eight-game September losing streak and finished one game behind the surprising Atlanta Braves. The offered baseball is autographed by (26) members of those defending world champion Dodgers. The lightly toned ONL Feeney sphere (grade 6) showcases bold blue ballpoint signatures that average (9) strength and clarity and include:
Sweet Spot: Lasorda (manager); North Panel: Reuss, Wright, Howe (d.2006), Belanger (d.1998), Crow and Welch; South Panel: Forster, Morales, R. Roenicke, Landreaux, Scioscia, Yeager and Cey; West Panel: Shirley, Russell, Niedenfuer, Baker, S. Sax and Marshall; East Panel: Guerrero, Stewart, Garvey, Monday and Maldonado; Reverse Sweet Spot: Mota (coach). Full photo LOA from JSA.
